Your responsibility

As (Deputy) Head of Pricing Specialty Lines you are responsible for building, refining, and improving existing pricing models and tools used by respective lines of business
You lead a small team of pricing actuaries applying actuarial and data science techniques
You develop pricing tools for testing purposes (e.g., in Excel) in collaboration with the business and produce specifications for implementation in Underwriting IT systems
You lead the innovation and efficiency efforts related to tools and analysis in support of Underwriting's pricing decisions with respect to large accounts as well as portfolio price adequacy analyses
You create and deliver actuarial presentations to all levels of management as required

Your qualification

Degree in quantitative field (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science or related field requiring modeling, programming, or quantitative analysis)
Qualified actuary with 5 - 10 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance pricing or equivalent combination of education and experience
Good level of programming skills with tools like SAS, R, Python, EMBLEM, Radar,
SQL Server, MS Office VBA
Leadership experience
You are fluent in English and German, any other language is valuable
Strong communication skills and customer orientation, ability to explain technical topics to a non-technical audience
