Your responsibility

Contribute to the development, maintenance and enhancement of advanced pricing models to support underwriting initiatives and product development using actuarial and data science techniques
Support the development of pricing tools for testing purposes (e.g., in Excel / Python) and define specifications of pricing models for implementation in underwriting IT systems
Create and deliver actuarial insights to underwriting as well as management as required
Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to support business objectives and optimize pricing strategies
Support the team's efforts in optimizing pricing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

Your qualification

Degree in a quantitative field (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field requiring modeling, programming, or quantitative analysis)
Qualified or nearly qualified actuary with 2-5 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance pricing or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in data management and data analytics being an advantage
Strong communication skills and high customer orientation
Good level of proficiency with tools like SAS, R, Python, SQL Server, MS Office VBA
Fluent in English and German, proficiency in additional languages is a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team
