What you'll be doing

  • You support operational activities related to investment transactions and financial instruments, including data checks, controls and follow-up of open items
  • You assist with the monitoring, validation and maintenance of portfolio and position data and help investigate data inconsistencies across systems
  • You support recurring activities related to portfolios and investment systems, including Aladdin, SAP and other Middle Office applications
  • You contribute to change and implementation initiatives by supporting requirements gathering, documentation, testing, follow-up activities and stakeholder coordination
  • You support regular operational controls and reconciliations and help investigate and resolve differences or exceptions
  • You prepare and maintain process documentation, checklists, presentations, reports and other working materials
  • You provide flexible support across the Middle Office team depending on current business needs and priorities

What you'll bring to the role

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Business Informatics or a related field, with a strong interest in Asset Management, financial markets, financial products and operational processes
  • You are interested in understanding how systems, processes and data flows interact within an Asset Management organisation and have good analytical skills, with the ability to work with data and identify inconsistencies
  • You work in a structured, accurate and reliable manner, take ownership of your tasks and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
  • You are a quick learner, curious and motivated to understand new processes, systems and financial topics
  • You are confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP, Aladdin or other financial systems is an advantage
  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills and are comfortable working with different stakeholders
  • You have very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
