Helvetia Global Solutions offers insurance solutions on an international basis for corporate clients in the non-life sector in the specialty lines as well as for private clients through our Non-Life Partnerbusiness setup. Helvetia Global Solutions Ltd is part of the Swiss-based Helvetia Insurance Group.

Your responsibility

Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and document compliance risks, integrated into the ICOR process of Helvetia Global Solutions (ICOR = Internal Control System and Operational Risk Management)

Preparation and implementation of the annual compliance activity plan of Helvetia Global Solutions, including monitoring of implementation
Monitor legal and regulatory developments, prepare internal compliance policies, advise and, if necessary, prepare instructions for action on all compliance topics and conduct training courses
Prepare compliance reporting content for HGS Executive Management and the Board of Directors
Providing or coordinating legal advice on legal or regulatory matters concerning HGS

Your qualification

Basic legal training with further qualification (e.g. Attorney-at-Law, LL.M., trainings in Compliance); or education in general economics combined with further qualifications in legal & compliance
Sound knowledge of insurance supervision and contract laws and regulations in the EEA, knowledge of the relevant Liechtenstein law is an advantage
Ideally 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in the finance industry, preferably in the insurance business
You are fluent in English and German, other languages are an advantage
You have already been able to develop stable partnerships even across departmental boundaries and cooperates to meet common goals
You tackle challenges without reservation, demonstrating high expectations of your own performance
