INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITY - GROUP ROLE BASED IN BASEL - CH
 

• Drive international IT scalability and support Helvetia's journey to a data-driven enterprise by leading the resort data & group solutions
• Manage the data- & group function platforms (e.g. SAP, Azure DWH) as well as the head architecture team (approx. 60 employees in total, 3 direct reports)
• Enhance and develop the data and group solutions portfolio (incl. a vast amount of group applications) to deliver fast, cost-efficient and high-quality services and applications to stakeholders from business and IT
• Guide the architectural endeavors to provide sustainable and business-focused IT (group solutions) and data landscapes
• Steer the SAP competence center to enhance business processes in finance and other departments (e.g. HR)
• Control of development and operational costs (incl. near shoring)
• Foster innovation, deliver on the present strategy and monitor strategy achievements

Skill ricercate

• BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, IT management or related fields
• Proven track record of successfully managed data and IT departments as well as corresponding initiatives and applications
• Significant leadership experience in managing large departments
• Proficiency in BI-, SAP-technologies, data management platforms and other IT solutions as well as vendor management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a dedication for developing people
• Driver personality with a can-do mentality and excellent stakeholder management skills
• Languages: English (must, proficient), German and Spanish would be a great advantage
• Readiness to travel within Europe
