What you'll be doing
- Primary point of contact and subject matter expert for the assigned market unit in all Investment Accounting matters;
- Preparation and maintenance of the investment sub-ledger including period-end closing (IFRS and local GAAP);
- Assurance of compliance with applicable accounting standards (LGAAP/IFRS);
- Development and maintenance of the internal control system;
- Commentary and analysis of investment accounting closing packages;
- Preparation of documentation and presentations for investment committees and other governance bodies;
- Assurance of compliance with regulatory requirements in the area of tied assets;
- Support external and internal audit processes;
- Active contribution to the Finance transformation programs.
What you'll bring to the role
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Professional designation such as CPA or similar beneficial
- 5 - 8 years of professional experience in Investment Accounting, ideally within an insurance company or asset manager
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and Local GAAP
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the investment area beneficial
- Experience with securities management systems, ideally SimCorp Dimension and SAP S/4HANA
- Experienced and motivated personality with strong teamwork and leadership skills in projects and the implementation of important initiatives
- Fluent German and English skills
