Your responsibility

Underwrite / Infrastructure risks (CAR / EAR) and build up your own portfolio, according to Helvetia Group Underwriting Directives and Guidelines Strategy
Conduct technical and insurance risk assessment
Ensure accurate and complete recording of all underwriting information.
Negotiate terms and conditions with brokers and clients
Cultivate a strong understanding of the business provider network
Attend national and international client and broker meetings as well as site visits when necessary
Collaborate closely with our claims department for large and complex claims

Your qualification

University degree in engineering, law, business, insurance or commercial qualification
Professional experience as an Underwriter, Senior Underwriter, Claims Manager, Loss Adjuster, or Insurance Professional willing to develop as an Underwriter or Senior Underwriter
Solid understanding of the infrastructure and constructions sectors
You tackle challenges with passion and demonstrate high expectations of your own performance
You can develop stable partnerships across departmental boundaries and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to meet common goals
You have a positive, agile, and team-oriented approach
Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is also beneficial
